Drawing on Haraway’s situated knowledges, Margulis’s symbiosis, and Foucault’s governmentality, the text argues for curatorial practice that shifts from displaying objects toward building relations and infrastructures — engaging directly with labour, food, care and daily life rather than staying inside an autonomous art field, since freedom only really exists through interdependence, not isolation.
As a situated example, it describes a small gathering during Art as Ecological Practice at Arthur Boskamp-Stiftung, where artists visited local gardener Wiebke Habbe to learn her low-intervention methods and taste freshly sprouted buds together — offered as a model of post-exhibitionary practice: not a grand new format, but small, embodied acts of mutual learning.
