Annual curricula co-developed and co-taught with Dorothee Richter.
Each study year combined theoretical seminars and collective readings with the collaborative development of exhibitions, publications, conferences, Summer Schools, and workshops.
2019–20 — Art and Activism
Curriculum addressing the points of contact, tensions, and distinctions between contemporary art and political activism. Readings by Claire Bishop, M. O’Reilly, Nato Thompson, Oliver Marchart, and Ulf Wuggenig provided the theoretical framework for examining artistic intervention, participation, and political agency.
The curriculum culminated in the collaborative exhibition and mediation project Games.Fights.Encounters.
